Separately, I believe you will get a different effect / outcome if you change your writing frequency. For me, it’s based on several considerations:
1. I want to create a sense of (manageable) discomfort for myself in terms of the writing schedule rather than accommodating the writing schedule neatly into my lifestyle. The writing schedule should be a little ambitious so that it nudges me out of my comfort zone, creates some tension for me to accelerate my cognitive behaviours.
2. Understanding the reading cycle / frequency of my followers and readers. Having looked at the data afforded via Medium, I’m sensing that a chunk of my readers have a 2-week reading cycle – meaning that any article I write, get a lot more attention 2 weeks out. So I could arguable write once every 2 weeks, but I feel I would get lazy with that schedule. Using a 1.5 week writing schedule is not advisable because it’s disharmonious with the weekly rhythm with which most people live their lives and develop their habits.
